With May now here, the design freeze on RMIT
Racing's 2007 Car, R07, has now been enforced. A significant amount of
manufacturing for the car is already underway, and with the final design
now frozen, the remainder of the manufacturing will commence in the
coming weeks. |

The crew at RMIT Racing has taken advantage
of the Easter University non-teaching period, making good progress in
the final design stages of R07. The team will now shift its attention
from design to manufacturing so that R07 can be on the track well ahead
of schedule. The team has also been focusing on final modifications to
R06, prior to being shipped to the UK for the Formula Student Event in
mid-July. |

RMIT RACING BIDS FAREWELL TO FSAE TROPHY |

The crew at RMIT Racing has said the last of its goodbyes to the FSAE
trophy, which today left the workshop on route back to the USA. The
enormous trophy, which stands around 1m tall and weighs in at more than
20kg, has been in the RMIT Racing workshop since the team won the FSAE
Championship at Detroit, in May last year. |

RMIT Racing has been working very hard over the past few weeks, as the
team approaches the design freeze on the 2007 challenger, R07. With
April fast approaching, the team is currently in a very busy period as
it mixes sponsor visits with design, as well as further development on
the R06 chassis, which will compete in the Formula Student Event in the
UK in July. |

MORE TESTING COMPLETE @ RMIT RACING |

| RMIT Racing took advantage
of the Labour Day public holiday, completing yet another test session
using the R06 chassis. The car completed several endurance length stints
without any problems, with the team gathering some vital data for the
upcoming Formula-Student event in the UK. RMIT Racing will be completing
more testing with the R06 chassis in the coming weeks. |
